No Offense Taken "Televangelist Salesman"

(700 Club/Shopping Network set up with Priest standing behind a desk)
Priest: Hello and welcome to St. John's Salvation Hour. It's a televangelist show that doesn't preach high mightiness and snobbery as that tends to turn away viewers and is therefore less profitable. Anyway, first up on this show I'm going to read some letters sent by fans and then show some souvenirs you can order from us, then reply to some hate mail and if we still have time we'll do our daily scriptural reading. Okay. If you would like to read ahead I suggest you can do it during the third segment not the first two, if you can't hold out do it now because you won't want to miss the second segment. Today's scripture is John 2:16. That's John 2:16 not John 3:16. So that said let's begin. The first letter comes from Los Angeles, California from a Mr. Timbs it reads (reads letter) "Dear St. John's Salvation Hour cast and crew, I am a local librarian who would like to thank you for recommending the book The Bible. I thought it was the best book since The Origin Of Species by Charles Darwin and is right up there with The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx" (closes letter) well there's no account for taste except with God, he hates bad taste, now let's move on to the merchandise, oh wait I still have a couple more letters how silly of me. First Mr. Crumpus from Rutland, Vermont. He writes (reads letter) "Dear St. John's I am a preacher from Vermont who has a conflict of conscience and it seems contradictory that I patriotically endorse war when I as a preacher am meant to teach against raising arms in the bloodshed of our Christian brothers." (closes letter) Well to put your mind at ease for the past fifty years America has stuck to bombing Muslims and other atheists. A similar letter comes from someplace in Italy or Germany I couldn't tell I speak tongues not gibberish anyway to address our foreign Christian brothers I would like to say your governments are evil liberalists without the death penalty or even a bleeding army so it doesn't matter since passively following Satan's ways you'll all burn in hell. Go American Christians except for Quakers, Mennonites and Jehovah's Witnesses but that goes without saying, bunch of weirdos god. Now it's home shopping time with our first product of The Virgin Mary (holds picture frame of Bettie Page with a whip) (looks and is shocked double take glance) oh my god how did that get here? We use the same set as talk show host Jerry the Shock Jock and His Cheerleading Mascot, that's probably how it got here anyway once we get some real money we'll just move to a holier network they can hardly afford my five thousand a week salary but mind you that's without medical insurance so I have to pay for my own medication unlike some dirty smutty commies I know who need someone to pay for their Zoloft, if they were righteous in God's eyes they'd rejoice in (holding gold plated cross) this gold plated wood carving of Jesus crucified but unlike many other crosses this one is in graphic detail so you can see the blood dripping from the palms of Lord Jesus. If you like that call 1-937-777-7776. Next a carved plaque (holding plaque) of the scripture John 3:16 not to be confused with today's reading which is John 2:16. This is the classic John 3:16. If you like this item call 1-937-666-6667. Now for the final part where I answer hate mail from the typical heathens, homosexuals, evolutionists and pacifists The first letter says Dear St. John's you've been cancelled signed Channel 27 management. What the hell?

Poetry Post 77

Religious Pacifists
Jehovah remember Martin Luther King
For with faith in you he believed freedom would ring
Jehovah remember Mahatma Gandhi
For with Christ like peace he caused a change to be
Jehovah remember Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein
For they kept faith and science soundly intertwine
Jehovah remember Mother Teresa and Albert Schweitzer
For in a time of greed they remembered what Christian love is for
Jehovah remember Henry David Thoreau
And all who struggled to be on the path you show

Phonies
What can I say what can I do
To make my feelings connect to you
We have no intimacy
You can't even feel me
My pains and pleasures you know of
But you only know it not feel, there is no love
Between us are only knowledge and a void
A quaint acquaintance I would like to avoid
We take and we give
Without any real motive
We know our value but have no appreciation
Our love feels like mere obligation
And since we don't really care
I don't think I need to be there

High
When I get so low I look for a high
But I have to watch so that I don't fall and die
I want to go touch the cloudless sky
But I know I'm left high and dry

Poetry Post 39 (by unpopular demand)

Replies To The Taunter
Don't say that righteousness is a battle lost at birth
Why would Jesus Christ pay the ransom if we had no worth
Why should one proved righteous die for unrighteous man
If His demands of us was more than we can
How can you say you believe in trinity
When you can't even understand unity
Two and two aren't five; one and one and one ain't one
Don't try to excuse the massacres you've done
Don't tell me pure love isn't real
When you live in illusion slanderers tell you to feel
Love isn't self assuming trying to take control
Love doesn't hurt others to protect its soul
Because true love always persist
It may not be common but it will always exist
In something called marriage, family, brotherhood, Christianity
And all those who believe in the Divine Rights of Humanity

Cult Labeling
I follow no graven image
I don't retreat to a communal village
I don't follow any tribunal rites of passage
I don't take drugs looking for a vision
I conform only to my conscious decision
But I'm put on derision
I follow no mortal man
I look to reason and understand
The laws on which I stand
I don't pop a spiritual pill
I reason to convert not resort to kill
But they are those who label me a cultist still

Jehovah Bleeds
No one bleeds like Jehovah God
Fair weather friends use Him for their fame
But then Satan curses them
And they forsake God's Name
Satan gives the curse
Jehovah gets the blame
Blind and bitter apostates leave
Left the faithful and true in shame
Capitalist Trinitarians kill God as much as atheist intellects
Wicked people live in sin at the cost of Jehovah's respect
War, hellfire, racism, sexism, tithing all exist at the expense of God
To reject or blindly accept for Divine paths to trod

Poetry Post 36 (oh come on why did I have to write so many?)

Thank You My Love
Thank you my love I thank you
I thank you for who you are and what you do
Thank you my love I thank you
I thank you for being the one I can go to
Thank you my love I thank you
I thank you for always getting me through
Thank you my love I thank you
I thank you for your support in all I pursue
Thank you my love I thank you
I thank you for letting me know the love you give is true
Thank you my love I thank you
I thank you for being the sweetest girl I ever knew
Thank you my love I thank you
I thank you for all the humanity in you

Tears Of Jehovah
A tear for every child neglected
A tear for every parent disrespected
A tear for every bullet shot
Another tear for everyone who it caught
A tear for the divisions set upon us by hate
A tear for the forces that would rather destroy than create
A tear for every life they try to eliminate
A tear for every law of humanity that we deviate
A tear for every time God's Name is used for ignorance and intolerance
A tear for every time authority hypnotizes society into a trance
A tear for every time words of peace and love are silenced
A tear for every time we try to justify violence
A tear for every time life seems to have no worth
So many tears of Jehovah it could drown the whole Earth

Lonesome Wolf II
Walking alone still in the vast wilderness
The Lonesome Wolf wanders with his loneliness
He has no friends and has no mate
He cannot change this it is his fate
He goes a long way from the pack
He was outcasted and can never come back
He howls his prayers for someone again to the moon
His life is going by too fast and needs someone soon

Part 31 Poetry (and still so much left)

The Future That Isn't Ours We Condemn
The children are the future so let's blame them
Let the adult authority be free to act on whim
The machines of blood will be sold off our hands
Sent to kill people in a million lands
But we shall never fear or hide
For we call it another man's genocide
We don't have to worry about the sea, the land or the sky
Let the children save it we have no need to comply
The earth isn't going to vanish before we die
Let the children find out how, we have no reason why
When you are the power and ultimate authority
You can always pass the buck to another to handle the responsibility

They Killed You
They killed you Lord they killed you
They killed you and blamed it on the Jew
They killed you Lord by hate and intolerance
They hated your Word but used it at their own expense
They killed you Lord they killed you by slander and libel
They killed you Lord by rewriting the Bible
They called you a hater, a man of warfare
They called you careless indifferent to our welfare
Christian minds turn atheist from their lies
They defended genocide in your name for their enterprise

Consumerism
No one is talking about the resurrection
Just their defective erection
And hopes of a competent election
In the market talking about natural selection
While truth lays beyond their detection
Blind to the cure of their infection
Sheltered by Harm disguised as Protection
Building walls around Godly affection
And walls that block self-inspection
The Whores of Babylon continue to entice
To just keep buying that crappy merchandise
Exploiting but never remembering Christ
Never looking twice
At the price
Or even thinking about the sacrifice
Or stopping to take instead of giving advice
But I know I should speak nice
Because this is my own vice

29th Log Entry of Poetry (and a lot more left)

Wars
Jesus never carried a sword
His fight and protection was God's Word
Truth and love are stronger than spears
Any man who carries both should have no fears
A man with a gun
May kill everyone
But he can't tame the powers of truth and love on the next generation
It'll shine through all creation
You can't go through the road of narrow
Carrying a bow and arrow
This world was not given to die in war
Prevention is the only way to restore

The Woods
Walking along the forest of brown and green
Going where the air is fresh and clean
No sign of destruction of a flower or tree
Miles away from the pollution of industry
Peace with God and all His Creation
Leaves me with a calm sensation
Life in the woods exists in peace
Here is where God's wonders never cease

Subliminal Affection
I love you but you love me in a different way
I live my life hiding my want pretending it's all okay
Subliminal affection is in everything I do
Whenever I am doing anything for you
There is no one to confide in
There is no place for my love to hide in
My motives and emotions are seeping through
Ever getting a more transparent view
I want to hide but my love persists
But as it does your love resists

28 Poetry

Celebrity Worshiping
People are listening to and not finding Nirvana
Society bows to a new Madonna
Writings of the Word replaced by wax and needles
Instead of twelve Apostles we have four Beatles
Love defined by another John and Paul
What's the difference after all
The feminism of Ruth, Abigail, Rahab Esther, and Rebekah
Is replaced by Paris, Britney, Lindsay, Christina and Jessica
Bob Dylan instead of Elijah
Marley instead of Jeremiah
We trade a prince for a king
Since the music is everything
Music is now the message not its carrier
Trading Christian soldiers for KISS knights and warriors
Rock is a less pretentious false idol
A less hypocritical role model
Than the catholic cathedrals
And the morality Holy Rollers install
But long forgotten is the God of Moses and Elijah
The distinctly defined Jehovah

Guns And Money (Haiku)
Deadly paradox
Needed due to its being
If be none need none

Corporate Layoffs (Haiku)
Corporate layoffs
Lead to CEO payoffs
And also ghettos

Part 26 Poetry Trilogy

The Trials Of Job
Some believe in karma some in cause and effect
But there's no sin like calling a victim a suspect
If good came to good and bad to bad
Then why are the pure of heart always sad
The poor are enslaved doom to toil and suffer
While wicked will acquire wealth and an economic buffer
The kind loner giving all his heart will get his broken and returned
While cheating wife-beating scum have hundreds of women who'll never learn
The fat feed at the feast while the sick pay the bill
It is demonic to call this God's Will
If a woman doesn't want a baby abortion's the answer
But medical science still cannot cure cancer
Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar
The "Jobs" of the world don't need your idiotic wind anymore

False Prophets
Ignorant leaders without sight
Condemn those carrying the light
The Light of Truth
To them is better without proof
They love a fiction
Based in contradiction
The spirit and the body are one (Genesis 2:7)
But when it's life is done
The body rots and decays dust to dust (Genesis 3:19)
But the spirit goes to heaven or hell on blind trust (?)
But what is hellfire to a man who can feel no pain (Ecclesiastes 9:5)
Even Solomon knew such a thing was vain
The false prophets say Jesus and God are the same (?)
But then why did Jesus pray in God's Name (Matthew 6:9, 26:39)
The false prophets constantly use such tricks to deceive
Those who look toward the truth to believe

Peace (Haiku)
How do you find peace
Love, wisdom, justice, power
Look for Jehovah

No Offense Taken "The Meaning of Life"

(professor talking to camera in a library background)
Professor Gumby: Hello I'm Prof. Gumby philosophy professor from Oxford University and I am here to discuss something we at Oxford University have been studying since the foundation of our university in the thirteenth century. It is a subject of philosophy much debated and discussed throughout the history of civilized man. It is the fundamental question of our own existence. It is something that has eluded scientists, theologians and other great guess workers for hundreds of years, until now. What is the meaning of life? Here at Oxford University we have finally found the definitive answer. It was found in a place we almost never looked. And yet it was so obvious. Millions of people in mankind's long history could have found it in their personal library of books, but most have not since it is while being one the most popular books also one of the longest. So despite the millions of people owning the book very few ever read it, at least not with any real focus but here it is (holding a book on a pulpit) the meaning of life on page 672 "the quality that distinguishes a vital and functional being from a dead body" as quoted in the Holy Dictionary. It was rather anti-climatic for us too

Volume Seventeen Poetry

The Pure And Simple Truth
I read the Bible and I find the truth
I know there is a God and I have the proof
Only Truth is eternal
Without it the soul is mortal
I see God treasures all that he gives to birth
He treasures the home he gave- the Earth
I fear no burning flames of hell
What the future holds only prophesy can tell
The only holy wars have no sword
My only general is the Lord
Jesus Christ is his personal name
His father Jehovah is in union with but not the same
It is not Him but Satan it is to blame
For all the sins that bring us to shame
It is Satan who owns the world but not the Earth
The greed and hate of politics he gives to birth
Love is giving, Greed is ungraciously getting
Never acknowledging others, his brothers he is forgetting
All things tangible are simply mortal
Don't trust them they're not eternal
Unless they synchronize with the Holy and Good
It will fall from where once it stood
Unless one can live the truth simple and pure
It will be impossible Armageddon to endure

Love Is All You Need
The deaf will hear and the blind will see
The dead shall rise to make a new society
To mark love can cause anything to be
For God is love and makes anything a possibility
Hate and pride only bring animosity
Quick fixes and easy outs are only temporary
Nothing everlasting came from greed
But the world will see love is all you need

Destruction Of Peace
Death does not achieve freedom
War does not maintain a kingdom
Destruction will always come
Where destruction is brought from

8th Cycle of Poetry

Rebuttal To Sean Hannity
You ask why anyone wouldn't say the pledge
I ask why you call yourself balanced when you're clearly on the edge
You claim religious obedience
When it's not God who gets your allegiance
Remember we must follow God before man
But you love the hierarchy of the Klan
Why does George Bush get your trust
When soon he'll just return to dust
Where's your spiritual conviction
You follow human contradiction
God does not simply bless America but Earth in all
But doesn't God say pride comes before a fall
Before you set up a probing investigation
Take another look at the question
And put yourself under evaluation
And look to see God's Children aren't one faith, one people or one nation
None except for the New Israel
Although not yet tangible the only forever real

I Don't Believe

I don't believe in Christmas, Easter, or Halloween
What good are the athlete, celebrity, or queen
And money is a trivial thing
Since there's a limit on what it will bring
Christmas only lives two days past December twenty-four
The queen says there's peace when so many die in her war
Athletes may run fast across the track and field
But what souls have they healed
Why should I believe in a celebrity
When they change in every song and movie
Maybe if we stop trying to find Easter eggs we could find peace
Maybe if we stop the lies of monsters a child's fears may cease

Meeting The Goal

So many dark times in my day
But now I've put my past away
Their insults used to bother me
The other kids would never let me be
Now victory is mine today
I'm meeting the goal day by day
I've left the world and flown away
I am like the seed of a tree
People would shove dirt over me
I'm now growing stronger each day
I won't be scared and run away
I've grown stronger since yesterday
I've let myself go and I'm free
Insults won't be trouble to me
In my mind pain has gone away
