Poetry Post 278

Religious Parody
A religious organization telling the evils of another organized religion
Is a parody bound to derision
Like the anti-social society
There's mutual rejection based on piety
It's ritualism versus rebellion
The sheep against the lion
Rejecting one system for another one
Will only fail as history's redone
Using the system to change itself
Will only leave you by yourself
Only the things God has made are permanent
Leaving just His just theocratic establishment
Only the ones true to His Vision
Are of the True Religion

The Time Trip
Let your mind start to slip
And take yourself on a time trip
To a more innocent age
A time naive to rage
Go back to that time again
Go back to where you always have a friend
Always remember this place
To be when you need to slow your pace

Mental Crash
The adrenaline is gone
Anxiety channeled into excitement, crashing into despair and disappointment
My body is simply a coffin for my dead spirit
A fire burnt out
Cold wind blowing over lukewarm ashes
Heart scattered and weakened as time passes
