Walking Down The Countryside
Down in the deep country wood
I can always feel good
No stress, no worries, just feeling fine
Just another good day sunshine
There's no place I need to go
So I'm going to take it slow
Now I'm free
I can be me
Walking down the countryside
Anything goes just enjoy the stride
Free to lie in the sun
Free to have fun
Just to lie softly on the Earthly ground
With the birds making their morning sound
I'm staying here for all eternity
To be forever free

Ye Have Done It Unto Me

I saw a fellowman in some need
So I did the right Christian deed
Whether in labor or personal doubt
I like to help my brothers out
I like to try to do what I can
But it is hard to be a Good Samaritan
When you can't trust everyman
And I have strength in spirit but the flesh of human

Changed
I was born in life
Without much strife
The world was fun and free
And it accepted me
Then everything changed
It was all rearranged
I was no longer loved
I'm always pushed and shoved
All the innocence of the world disappeared
Everything's worse than I ever feared
It is all over for me
Unless somehow I break free

The Preacher

The Preacher:
I am the preacher of the good news no one seems to hear
To die by the sword or live by the plowshare
Somehow Christian morals lose to hate and fear
What happened to love thy neighbor
And learn war no more
Isn't that what Christ died for
Heaven and Earth are God's Chosen Kingdom
A place for the oppressed and burdened to come
And love enforces the law of all not just some
Give to your neighbor the gleaning of your field
But let your anger and your grudges toward him yield
The Christian frame of mind is the most protective shield

Ways To Truth
All of mankind's queries
Can only be answered in theories
Without absolute proof
Can there be absolute truth
Man's quest would fill the canyons seeking ultimate knowledge
And man's eyes can hardly see pass the cliff's ledge
So many ways to look all the way around
Fogs of ignorance so thick you can't see the ground

Freedom
I have finally grown
I am now on my own
The time has finally come
For more of my own freedom
I am now a man at last
Now I can forget my past
I'll move on to have a family
The way I always wished it would be
I shall be a benefit to society
And society shall finally be of some help to me
The day of freedom
Has finally come

Conquering A Demon
Conquering a demon
Beating the con
The con that tricked me to do what I did
The one who made me a slave to his every bid
But I finally quit
I beat the evil habit
It is no longer trapping me
Into thinking his way was the only way I could be free
But it's over and I proved the Devil wrong
And to him I no longer belong
I'm no longer stuck in my addiction
And I'm out of my affliction
