Poetry Post 201

Aspie Pride
You call it a syndrome but I'm not so sure
So pardon me if I don't want to find a cure
I don't know what society could use it for
If it's a disease I say infect some more
I don't know how those without it endure
Without it everything would seem like a bore
Would I even have a curiosity to explore
Would I still find pleasure in what I adore
All these benefits you seem to ignore
Am I myself any longer when you alter my core

Naturally Selected Suspect
Cops at a crime scene fire their guns
And chase the first person that runs
And say if you're not guilty why did you run
Forgetting who's the one with the gun

Mortal Words
Spoken works get lost in space
Written words will be erased
