Movie Script-The Monkees (just the overview premise)

One of my favorite tv shows as a kid was The Monkees starring Peter Tork, Micky Dolenz, Mike Nesmith and Davy Jones and since I was about five I saw this video they made "Heart And Soul" that lasted about 40 minutes I used to watch it over and over and in brief passing Micky mentioned the possibility of a new Monkees movie, well since then there's been a Get Smart, two Flintstones, two Addams Family, two Brady Bunch, two Charlie's Angels movies but no new Monkees movie so I wrote one in case anyone's interested. As with every tv to film adaptations there's a few changes. First they are four unknown musicians living together in their early thirties still but they met in college in California and Mike Nesmith is married to his college sweetheart Mary, and Micky is dating a stripper who's been with him a few years. Davy is still promiscuous and successful at it and Peter still has trouble with women. The main plots are their relationship problems, their ego problems with their place in the band and their struggle to get on a reality show hosted by Ryan Seacrest called the Next Great American Band. Davy plays bass and Peter just plays keyboards in the band versus Peter playing both and Davy just standing around with a tambourine
